# Democracy

Democratic parties are used to allow a group to have equal voting rights, regardless of who, where, and how much. Democratic parties are straightforward, everyone gets an equal vote.

This type of party would traditionally be used where trading decisions need to be made on an infrequent basis.

Democracies can only proceed with a decision once each member vote has been cast or the voting time limit has elapsed.

Only 51% of a party must be in favour of a measure to let it pass.

An example use case of this party might be for the purchase and fractionalisation of a singular high value asset, like a Bore Ape NFT or land in the Metaverse.

*Your share of the party funds, is still a percentage based on how much you initially invest.*
